Los Angeles is well known for its endless list of things to do, which includes many annual events and festivals. No matter when you visit, there’s always a festival or event to check out. Tournament of Roses Parade

The Tournament of Roses Parade in January is a tradition known across the United States. Since 1890, floral floats, musical performers and the Rose Queen have been celebrated with the annual parade. More than a million spectators head to Pasadena every year to watch the one of a kind parade. Afterwards, the big Rose Bowl football game keeps the excitement going all day long.


Academy Awards

The Kodak Theatre in Hollywood is most well known for hosting the Academy Awards every year in February. You don’t have to be a runner to enjoy the Los Angeles Marathon every March. This well known even in Los Angeles features more than 23,000 runners every year. The 26 mile long marathon isn’t your typical marathon as it’s dotted with cheerleaders, street performers and much more!


Toyota Grand Prix in Long Beach

Race car lovers have to check out the Toyota Grand Prix in Long Beach every April. The high speed extravaganza is a two mile street circuit filled with breath-stopping curves.


X Games

In June, competitors from around the world battle at the X Games. Thousands watch the extreme sports performed in Downtown LA.
