The children’s museum hosts the Robert & Mary Galvin Physics Forest, which includes 13 hands-on exhibits to inspire children to become the creators and innovators of tomorrow. A few of the activities included in the Physics Forest are a tennis ball launcher, bottle rocket, and sun spotter to ignite an interest in science.
The Digging Deeper Exhibit Gallery allows children to explore the wonders of the world, including anatomy, large-scale objects, rocks, and minerals and plant specimens. Children also have the opportunity to create their own artwork, dig up animal fossils, climb massive towers and learn about an ant colony in a huge Ant Hole. There’s also an erosion table and water vortex!
There are even learning opportunities and programs for toddlers at the Early Childhood Learning Center. The center helps children develop their motion and language through learning experiences. The center is a safe place for children under 4 to crawl and walk, while learning how to share and use art materials.
